“Fabulous chateau location surrounded by vines and easily accessible just off the N89 but feels like the middle of nowhere. Exactly what we look for in a hotel retreat and great value given how upmarket and well maintained it is.”
“Beautiful chateau inside and out in a tranquil setting. Charming staff. Exceptional food. Highly recommended.”
“An exceptional hotel with first-class service and a truly impressive cuisine. The food was of an outstanding standard and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and highly professional. Absolutely recommended.”
“We have had a lovely week at Chateau Fage. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable and suitable for disabled guests as well. All the staff have been very welcoming and attentive and the food in the restaurant is excellent. The setting in the vines is beautiful. We stayed for a week as we were purchasing a house in the area. We look forward to bringing many guests to the restaurant when on holiday.”
“We had a very good stay at Château Fagé and would highly recommend it. The rooms are excellent: not too big and not too small and very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and features a large swimming pool that is perfect for relaxing. The location is fantastic, offering a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere with stunning views over the surrounding vineyards and winery. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Breakfast was perfect. There was everything you could expect from a quality breakfast, with a wide variety of options, and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, Château Le Fagé exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return in the future.”
“Very peaceful chateau, and helpful staff. It is surrounded by vineyards. There is no AC but since it was May, we didn't need it anyways. Leaving the windows open at night gave us the breeze and the water from the fountain was soothing. There is a pool but we didn't get to use it. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious. We drove straight from Bordeaux airport and the drive had wonderful sceneries. Check in and check out was very easy and personal. It is located in between St Emilion and Bordeaux, a good base to explore the wine regions.”
“I stayed here at the start of September and loved it. It's such a cute spot. The chateau came up as a contender for it's air conditioning and swimming pool and we were delighted to have picked it. The restaurant is very good and the brunch on Sunday, a real treat. We had read that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening and so went out to a local spot for dinner - it wasn't as good as the Chateau's restaurant though:)”
